Georges Briard Signed Mid-Century It's In The Cards Glasses (Set of 7)
Back in the day when people entertained at home on a Saturday evening and played cards with friends and neighbors - Georges Briard was busy thinking of his next humorous glasses
He came up with this beautiful turquoise, 22-karat gold and black design featuring Picasso-like Kings of Aces, Spades, Clubs and Diamonds
Even though it was the French card-makers in the late 16th century who standardized the suits of spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs and designated the four kings as David, Alexander, Charlemagne, and Augustus - it was Georges Briard who wins the game with this gorgeous design
This beautiful 7-piece mid-century set features Georges Briard pattern which is very detailed and the 22-karat gold has a two-toned pattern to add even more elegance
Each glass is signed Georges Briard and is 5 1/2" height, 2 1/2" diameter
So call up your friends, break out the cards and see when you use this beautiful set that you instantly become the King of Spades
